15 years helping Charlotte…

I bring 15 years of digital marketing experience to my partnerships with Charlotte businesses. The goal has always been to help owners bring in customers and grow their revenue.

I started this business in college in 2019 with seven clients. Through the Yellow Pages business and Charlotte small-business relationships, it grew into website design, hosting, and ongoing marketing support.

A business can add services, grow its team, and change how it sells while its website still tells the old story. That gap matters when someone is deciding whether to call.

That’s why I created Web CLT. I ask what customers want to know, what makes your business different, and what your website needs to do. Then I build around those answers.

The business has grown beyond those first seven clients into website design, hosting, and digital marketing through monthly service agreements. You work directly with me, with the focus on your business and revenue—not just a finished website.

“I wasn’t getting enough customers to keep my tinting business on South Boulevard open. Preston Bessire originally came in to work on my IT, then helped me redesign my website and focus more on digital marketing. That helped more people find my brand and brought more customers through the door.”

Preston with a maintenance business owner in Steele Creek

His maintenance contract was at risk.

This Steele Creek business owner was struggling to keep his maintenance contract at Walker at Steele Creek Apartments. I helped him sharpen his digital marketing and explain the range of services he offers. That gave him a stronger way to present his quotes and approach maintenance-contract conversations.

Preston at the Ballantyne hotel for a website consultation

Make the website match the business.

A land development company needs people to understand who they are dealing with. I met a client at the Ballantyne hotel to plan a website redesign, starting with the company’s work and what the new site needed to explain. The aim was a stronger introduction before the first conversation.

Preston with Carl, who works in a furniture-making construction business

Get Carl’s craftsmanship out into the world.

Carl makes unique wooden stools and furniture as part of a construction business. I partnered with him to take that craftsmanship online, giving him a website where he could show his designs and start advertising what he makes. His work needed a place where people could discover it.

Preston with the founder of a women’s recovery business in Fort Mill

Give an important mission a voice.

This Fort Mill founder was starting a recovery business for women leaving jail. She wanted a distinctive website that could explain the support she planned to offer and why the community needed it. The work began with making that mission understandable to the people she wanted to reach.

Preston with Dan discussing his plant and flower business

Don’t make buyers guess what you sell.

Dan’s Steele Creek business buys plants and flowers, grows them larger, then cuts and sells what he grows. He needed people to understand that process and how his business sells. We focused the website on explaining what happens between the original plant and what a customer can buy.

Most Common Questions (FAQ)

Does my website need a full rebuild?

Not always. Website improvements can fix unclear content, slow pages, or difficult mobile navigation. A redesign changes the experience; a rebuild replaces the underlying site when it limits what your business needs. I review your current website before recommending either.

Can you improve the SEO on my existing website?

Yes. SEO improvements can include page titles, service content, internal links, mobile performance, and fixing indexing problems. I start with your existing website and the searches that matter to your business, then agree on the work before making changes.

What is AEO, and how is it different from SEO?

SEO means Search Engine Optimization: helping search engines find and understand your pages. AEO means Answer Engine Optimization: making your business information useful to AI answer tools. Both rely on clear service descriptions, accurate details, accessible pages, and helpful answers—not a special shortcut to rankings.

How much does a website redesign cost?

WebCLT’s Small Business Website package is $3,000–$4,000, Business Website is $5,000–$7,000, and Custom Website starts at $7,000. These are one-time project prices. Hosting and marketing are separate; the final scope and price are agreed before work begins.

Do you work with Charlotte small businesses?

Yes. I work directly with Charlotte-area business owners on website design, redesigns, SEO, AEO, hosting, and digital marketing. Recent project stories include businesses in Steele Creek, a land-development consultation in Ballantyne, and a women’s recovery business in Fort Mill.

Can you improve the page my Google or Meta ads send people to?

Yes. I review whether the landing page matches your ad, explains the offer, works well on a phone, and makes calling or requesting a quote easy. Tracking qualified inquiries alongside ad spend helps you see what is working and what needs to improve.

What happens to my existing search rankings?

I review important pages, keep URLs where practical, and redirect changed ones. Launch checks cover the sitemap, links, and search reporting. Rankings cannot be guaranteed.

Will a new website guarantee more leads?

No. A better website can explain your services and make contacting you easier. Demand, your offer, and marketing also affect results. SEO and AEO work cannot guarantee rankings, traffic, or mentions in AI answers.

Who writes the content?

I draft from your materials and our conversations. You review the facts and wording before launch.

How long will my website take?

Timing depends on the content, features, and reviews. We agree on a schedule once the scope is clear.

Not sure you need a new website? Start with the one you have.

Send me your current website. I’ll look at what a visitor sees first, how your services are explained, and what happens on a phone. If it needs a redesign, I’ll explain why. If a few improvements will do, I’ll tell you that too.
